northernroot is an artist collective of Northern Root Records, its partners, and music students trained by Northern Root Records.

Northern Root Records (NRR) is a multifaceted entertainment company that operates as a music tutorial center, as media company (RNorth Entertainment), record label, artist management, music production studio, and recording studio. Northern Root Records is a current Warner Music Philippines affiliate (2021-present).

NRR currently has three record label branches located in Tuguegarao City, Olongapo City, and Bataan, and is in the process of establishing three more in Cavite, Pangasinan, and Ilocos.

We are deeply rooted in promoting original music by local artists from the Northern Philippines and incorporating local languages such as Ibanag, Itawes, Ilocano, and Pangasinense into our music.

Northern Root is dedicated to nurturing local talent, preserving cultural heritage, and contributing positively to the growth and well-being of the community.

Vision:

To be a pioneering force in the preservation and promotion of Northern Philippine music, culture, and talent on a global scale, especially in Cagayan Valley.

Mission:

- To produce and promote original music that reflects the diverse cultural heritage of the Northern Philippines.

- To bring our local music and local artists in the mainstream music and in the global music scene.

- To preserve the culture and heritage of the Northern Philippines, especially in Cagayan Valley

- To actively engage in community development by providing yearly free music classes to deserving scholars and chosen elementary schools, especially
